Immerse yourself in Pilates this March

2 Classes of Pilates a day, during the week of 4-8th March will be offered by Instructor Rebecca Methley.
Body Control Pilates is based on the work of Joseph Pilates (1880-1967) who created a series of exercises that built strength without adding bulk, and balanced that strength with flexibility.
Pilates targets deep postural muscles building strength from the inside out, rebalancing the body and bringing it into correct alignment. Pilates is also ideal for first time exercisers. Its slow controlled approach means it gives longer term results and is especially recommended by medical specialists for those with back problems.
Rebecca has been practising pilates since 1997 after being directed towards pilates following a back injury. Favourite activities include hiking , swimming and golf. Rebecca decided to qualify to teach pilates following recovering from breast cancer and finding pilates the key to returning to full strength and activity.
She enjoys seeing clients develop strength and flexibility and incorporate pilates into everyday life. “Pilates in beautiful surroundings is food for the body and soul and I love passing on all I have learnt about keeping myself healthy and strong enough to face whatever life throws at me”.
